Paint the internet, paint memes.
“It's very simple: if you're going to be painting anyway, you might as well paint big. Most people paint small, because most people are afraid of success, afraid of making decisions, afraid of winning.”
~ Basically paraphrased from Donald Trump, Trump: The Art of the Deal p.46

GEOTUS
Here’s the painting that started it all. I became obsessed with the classic meme depicting Trump as an old fashioned Military Commander. At the time I was studying the work of Obama’s portrait artist Kehinde Wiley and reading Trump’s Art of the Deal. Wiley’s work seemed accessible, and Trump’s message from the book was you mustn’t be afraid to think bigger and become more. Inspired, I challenged myself to recreate that meme in painting form. The positive response from social media was overwhelming. It set me on a journey to love painting again and to share that love with others.
